The goal of this workshop is to bring together researchers working in the fields of soft robotics and/or space exploration to discuss the latest developments, current challenges, and future opportunities related to the adoption of soft robotic technologies in in-situ planetary missions. The workshop will focus on highlighting benefits and identifying avenues for future improvements that will lead soft robotics principles to become part of the design tools for future exploratory probes.

Group Mission Concept Sprint
After the talks, we’ll close the session with a short
“Group Mission Concept Sprint”—a collaborative design exercise where participants sketch a rapid mission concept leveraging soft robotics principles, for extraterrestrial environment.No prior experience in soft robotics required; curiosity is enough!
